The ForeSee Experience Index (FXI): 2014 U.S. Retail Edition measures retail customer experiences with the largest retail brands in the United States, as recognized this year by Internet Retailer’s Top 500 web and mobile commerce sites and NRF Stores Top 100 Retailers. This study focuses on retailer’s three most important customer touchpoints: retail chain stores, e-commerce websites, and mobile experiences.

The results are comprised of more than 40,000 survey responses collected between October 26 and December 15, 2014 and clearly show that a satisfied shopper is far more likely than a dissatisfied shopper to engage in desired future behaviors such as purchase, remain loyal and engage in positive word-of-mouth recommendations.
